Surcy Peoples, III

With a heavy heart, all of us at Central Stockyards want to acknowledge the passing of Surcy Peoples, our longtime Director of Operations.

Surcy began working with Central Stockyards in the fall 2019 and had a significant impact on our operations and the Fed Cattle Exchange. Surcy had friends in all corners of the cattle industry and was especially passionate about cattle feeding. He was committed to helping improve the cattle industry and worked tirelessly with USDA, CME, and other policy organizations to make positive changes.

On a personal level, his unmatched sense of humor and quick wit will be missed. Surcy had a massive network of friends who can all attest to his loyalty and friendship. He will truly be missed.

Please join us in keeping his wife, Amy, and son, Surcy Peoples, IV, in your prayers.
